2024 LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Northwest Neighbors is proud to host our Summer 2023 Youth Leadership Development Program in Northwest Rockford.
A summer training program including training and work opportunities with:
- Community & Youth Violence Prevention and Children’s Safety Training
- Community Leaders of the Future Program
- Community Gardens Tending & Management
- Special Week Long Service Learning with Zion Development Program
- Community Volunteering & Leadership with Local Community Food Pantries
- Community Technology Access with Spark Center programs
These are paid positions and limited to 10-15 youth chosen from a pool of applicants. Youth will be paid for their time for up to 20 hours a week at a reasonable wage.
